HOT SHOTS
Lesson #1 Get Out There and Shoot
Lesson #2 Let’s Capture Giftedness
Lesson #3 Creating a Digital Story
Lesson #4 Time To Tell Our Story
If you think you are a HOT SHOT, join us as we explore digital cameras and the art of photography. Prepare yourself to learn cool new ways to capture an image, the basics of photography, how to edit digital pictures and how to create a digital yearbook of your 2013 AIG Summer Camp memories. Your favorite photograph will be displayed in an art gallery for all to admire! Come on all you HOT SHOTS out there...it’s time for you to feel the POWER of photography.
Real World Problem: There is not one agreed upon definition of the word "giftedness". Even the experts in the gifted education field have not come to a consensus of one precise definition of "giftedness". Our unit objective is to ask the source, the AIG students, how they can define giftedness by using the POWER of photography.
Unit Essential Question:
How can you use the POWER of photography to define what giftedness means to you?
